This is a really lovely caravan, bought by us from Berkshire Caravans in Reading in 2004 to see if we would like to be caravanners - well; we loved it and have had 6 great years out of it. Due to our children growing up and having weekend commitments we do not have the time to use the caravan anymore (we have only used it for one week in each of the last 3 years). It has the much sought-after rear washroom and L-shaped lounge to the front.
The van is not a newbie, but is in VERY good condition considering its age - it has obviously been looked after in the past and has many happy years of life left. Caravan is CRIS registered with security etched windows. There are no cracks, leaks, damp or other nastiness in this caravan - your inspection is welcomed.
This model is one of the best that Bailey do - it has the L-shaped front lounge, giving plenty of space for eating at the fold away table (this stows conveniently nearby in its own locker & can be used in the awning if desired) or at the dinette space opposite the cooker - this is excellent if just two people are using the caravan. This dinette area converts to two separate bunk beds with a privacy curtain.
The bathroom/dressing room area is one of the roomiest on the market and offers a full sized separate shower area for adult-sized people (not just bathing for stick insects!). The shower water comes through fast and hot and is great if you are not on a site with a nice shower block. There is a flush cassette toilet, excellent water power to the sink and wash hand basin. The dressing room has a very large wardrobe with cupboards above and below, the sink is housed in a vanitory unit with cupboards above and below. There are robe hooks, a towel ring and toiletries shelf; the area is separate from the rest of the van allowing space and privacy to shower and dress with the door shut!
Cooker has four burners, oven and grill - being totally honest the grill is not too powerful, but we are throwing a toaster in so that you won't miss your morning toast! The oven is very powerful and totally usable. There is a 'cocktail' type cabinet for your G&T, masses of locker space and excellent under seat storage for bedding etc.
Obviously this caravan has travelled around and has the usual little dinks here and there, but the overall impression is a very tidy van for its. All upholstery is unmarked and with no rips, tears or mends; curtains are cream nylon velvet effect, but the caravan also has fitted sun blinds and fly screens on all windows and doors, including the roof vent. There is a powerful blown air heater that circulates air/heat throughout the caravan, including the bathroom. The 'fridge has three way power - 12v, 240v or gas.
There is a radio / CD player with two pioneer speakers ( I installed these two years ago)
